Working With Children

Griffith Hockey Association believes that Children have a right to safety - emotionally, mentally and physically. Everyone has a role to play in
keeping children safe from harm.

Griffith Hockey Association utilises the resources of Hockey NSW and Hockey Australia as part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people who are involved in our sport. These resources can be found at:

The Working with Children Check (WWCC) is a requirement for anyone who works or volunteers in child-related work in NSW. It involves a National Police Check (criminal history record check) and a review of reportable workplace misconduct.

As part of our commitment we ask all who are working with children within our association, to apply for a WWCC and to submit this number to the association at griffithhockey@hotmail.com.
