Extra Time & Shootouts

If at the end of regular time scores are level, teams will play 5 minutes each way ‘Golden Goal’ extra time. This means the team to score first wins the match. For the first 5 minutes of extra time, both teams shall play with 9 players. If a second 5 minutes of extra time is required, both teams will play with 8 players.

If at the end of 10 minutes of extra time, there is still no result the match will go into penalty shootouts.  

Team managers shall nominate 5 players and their order for the shootouts. A toss of a coin will determine the team to go first.  

Each team will have 5 – shootouts. The team with the most goals at the end of 5 shootouts is determined the winner. If scores are still level sudden death shootouts using the same nominated players in reverse order will determine the winner.
